What kind of features does the Explorer offer?

The Explorer is outfitted with three-rows of standard seating that can carry up to seven passengers. Some trim levels are outfitted with second-row captain's chairs, reducing the seating capacity to six passengers. In total, there are four trim levels to choose from, the XLT, Limited, ST, and Platinum. Standard features consist of satellite radio, a power liftgate, SYNC connectivity, dual-zone climate control, Ford's Co-PIlot 360 safety suite, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and more! The upper trim levels build upon that with features like power front seats, a hands-free/foot-operated power liftgate, a 360-degree camera, and leather-trimmed seats. The sporty ST trim level adds on a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, sport bucket seats wrapped in leather upholstery, paddle shifters, unique interior and exterior design elements, and a sport suspension.

Can you tell me about the Explorer's engine options?

There are four stellar powertrain options available to power the 2020 Ford Explorer! The standard engine is a 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost 4-cylinder that generates 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. This engine is outfitted with standard RWD and AWD is available. The Platinum model houses the exclusive 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 365 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The ST houses the most powerful engine, a version of the Platinum's V6. This version cranks out 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. Both versions come with standard AWD. A new hybrid powertrain is available too! This powertrain is comprised of a 3.3-liter V6 engine with an electronic motor delivering a combined output of 318 horsepower and 322 pound-feet of torque.

Can you tell me about the Explorer's standard safety features?

Ford created the Explorer with safety in mind because they understand that you are going to be traveling with your most precious cargo! Standard safety features are bountiful, including the LATCH system to keep child safety seat secure, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, a front passenger knee airbag, Belt-Minder to make sure everyone is wearing their seatbelts, the Safety Canopy System, traction control, and an SOS Post-Crash Alert System.
