The NFL and Ford — Prime Examples of Toughness

#FordTrucks is the official truck of the @NFL! pic.twitter.com/tzXN8e0VTt— Ford Trucks (@FordTrucks) September 7, 2016
If you stop and think about all the men who have played NFL football, then you will realize that there certainly were some tough ones. One of the toughest was Brett Farve who completed 297 consecutive starts. Two others that come to mind is Steve Young for his outstanding mobility and fearless attitude and Walter Payton who always exhibited so much grace under pressure. Yet another is Earl Campbell who was never afraid to use his great speed and power to help his team to victory. These players are acknowledged by many as American heroes.
It seems natural then that a sport that prizes strength would partner with an equally well-known brand that does the same. That company is none other than Ford. As the maker of an extraordinary lineup of pickup trucks, the appointment of Ford trucks as the official vehicle for the NFL is a suitable one indeed. Like the toughest players out on the field, Ford Trucks do so many things right. They offer great reliability like Farve, outstanding mobility like Young, grace under pressure like Payton, and outstanding power like Campbell.
Come into Winner Ford and test drive a Ford truck today. After you do, you will understand why they say “Built Ford Tough.”
2017 Ford Super Duty Leaves Competition in the Dust
At Winner Ford, we would like the present the latest Ford pickup truck, the 2017 Ford Super Duty, to our friends and neighbors nearby. After countless assessments, we can safely say that it is the toughest and most capable Ford full-sized pickup truck ever built. Whether it comes down to rugged pulling power, sheer durability, or maneuverability, the 2017 Ford Super Duty is miles ahead of the competition.

One of the most brilliant features about the truck are the high-resolution digital cameras, seven in total, that provide a 360 view of the immediate environment. This enhanced visibility combined with another feature called ‘adaptive steering’ allows for flawless maneuvering around all types of obstacles, including those that can’t be seen easily just by peeking outside of the window.
Not only does this truck come with a lot of smarts, including touch screen features and voice activated commands, but no other pickup truck delivers as much torque either, making the new Super Duty more than capable for onsite jobs requiring towing power. It’s no wonder that customers and experts agree, this is the toughest, smartest, and most capable pickup truck to date.
August is here and with it comes thoughts of fall. Labor day barbeques or last-minute trips to the beach, packing up the patio equipment and taking out cool-weather clothing all loom on the horizon. Still, summer isn’t over yet! And there’s still plenty of time to enjoy it to the fullest, driving one of these:

Ford and an NFL Player Turned … Yogi?
When you think of changing careers, you might consider something parallel to what you do already. Perhaps instead of accounting you’ll pursue a career in financial law, or in place of nursing, you might decide you’re ready to take the plunge and set out on the path of radiological technician. But changing from NFL player to yogi?

Ford asked real-life couple and 2016 Ford Expedition owners Sean and Christy about their ownership experience, and they shared something we at Winner Ford find pretty amazing: the 2016 Expedition isn’t their first Expedition, it’s their eighth. Every time their family needs a new vehicle, they test drive the latest competition, but they always find their way back to the Ford Expedition. Instead of stealing their thunder, we’ll let them speak for themselves in the video below about what keeps bringing them back.

It’s plain to see, this is a family that really makes the most of their 2016 Ford Expedition. And even Sean, self-described as “not a technology guy,” is comfortable using and surprised by how much he lives the available technology inside the 2016 Expedition. The 2016 Expedition has ample storage and cargo space, especially with the seats laid flat, which is important when the family wants to bring their two sons and their surf boards to the ocean for a day at the beach. Christy also shares that she appreciates the safety and driver assistance features available on the 2016 Ford Expedition because she’s usually traveling with her children in the vehicle.
If you find your interest piqued after watching Sean and Christy explain all the ways they use their 2016 Ford Sedans and all the reasons they love it, you’re invited to join us in our beautiful showroom, located conveniently on 591 South Dupont Highway, Dover. Here you’ll find the 2016 Ford Expedition and a wide selection of new and pre-owned Ford models. If you’re not looking for an SUV, our Ford Sedans and Ford Hatchbacks might be a better fit.
2017 Fusion Sport Aims to Seduce Performance-Sedan Shoppers with 380 pound-feet of Torque

For Dover shoppers seeking a powerful and sophisticated performance sedan, there is a new player in town — and it’s not German. Ford has its sights set on customers who would typically drive an Audi, BMW, or Mercedes-Benz model with the new 2017 Ford Fusion Sport.
“It’s not just Fusion buyers who want something hotter,” said Wade Jackson, Ford Fusion marketing manager. “Owners of other midsize sedans, along with our own dealers, ask repeatedly. So buyers get a 2.7-liter EcoBoost that makes 325 horsepower and a more impressive 380 pound-feet of torque.”
All-wheel drive is a standard feature, so expect road-gripping performance in any weather. Perhaps the most appealing factor for those on the fence is an ostensibly trivial detail — the cup holders.
We know what you’re thinking — who cares? But let’s be honest, if you have experience with German-designed vehicles, you’re used to small irritations like ordering a large soda from the drive-thru, and having to drive with it between your legs because it doesn’t fit in the cup holder.
The Fusion Sport is just as powerful, more affordable, and it was designed to accommodate the very American habit of eating in the car.

The Ford Raptor–then known by its SVT prefix–debuted in 2010, just as the Blue Oval was emerging from the economic downturn. Back then, it proved all of its critics wrong, becoming so popular that its production plant struggled to keep up with demand. Now, it enters its second generation with a new crop of skeptics to silence.
The new Raptor is one of the first models of the Blue Oval’s new Performance division, which was launched alongside the pickup and the GT supercar in 2015. This autumn, the Raptor will arrive in showrooms–thus showing everyone that an aluminum bodied pickup with a V6 engine is still more than capable of turning boulders to dust with its might. But brawn isn’t all this frighteningly fast off-roader has going for it, as you can see in the video above.
When the Raptor arrives in dealerships this autumn, we’d be more than happy to let you pour over all of its features. In the meantime, you can contact our Ford dealership in Dover, DE to get updates about when its available.
Local Soybeans Could be Part of Your New Ford

The #FarmToCar mission is simple: replace petroleum-based plastics with plant-based materials.https://t.co/ETS8NqtqxL— Ford Drive Green (@FordDriveGreen) May 10, 2016
Here in Delaware, soybeans are one of our biggest crops. Did you know that since 2011, every new Ford vehicle built in North America has contained soy?
It’s part of Ford’s commitment to sustainability. Using soy-based foams instead of petroleum-based foam has reduced Ford’s annual CO2 emissions by over 20 million pounds, which is great news for the environment. From an economic perspective, it also shields the automaker from fluctuating oil prices, and it brings new revenue streams to farmers.
Soy foam is just the beginning of Ford’s “farm-to-car” mission. In 2014, Ford added rice-hull-reinforced plastics to the F-150, using rice sourced from U.S. farms. Ford is currently working with H.J. Heinz Company to make bioplastics using tomato skins, stems, and seeds that the ketchup company would otherwise discard as a byproduct.
Looking for a greener, less wasteful way to drive, that doesn’t sacrifice the thrill of responsive driving dynamics? Visit Winner Ford, and test drive new cars, trucks, and SUVs in Dover.
